Predator hook has a streamlined weight on the shank which gives additional weight for casting and also acts as a keel to keep the lure swimming straight on the retrieve. It also allows the lure to sink faster if you want to bounce it back across the bottom. The streamlined shape of the weight allows it to easily pass through the head of the lure for easy rigging.
The hooks are designed to hold the lure firmly in place during the cast and retrieve and to keep the point close to the lure body preventing fouling on weed and rock. When a fish takes the lure the round bend allows the lure to push down the shank to give good hook hold in the fish.
The hook features a needle point with neat barb, forged bend and small eye.
